Board of directors

Yvan Delorme, OOM

President and Chief Executive Officer

Yvan Delorme is QcGoldtech’s main shareholder.

From 2005 to 2010, Yvan was head of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). He was one of the youngest officers to hold this position. During his career with the SPVM, he was a patrol officer, a training agent, and in 1995, he joined the famous Carcajou squad.

In 1997, Yvan established the Proceeds of Crime Unit. From 2002 to 2004, he worked successively as Chief Inspector in the Technical Services Division, the Investigations Directorate, and in the Operations Directorate.

Yvan is a member of the Association des Directeurs de Police du Québec, the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Major City Chiefs Association. He was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Merit (O.O.M.) of the Police Forces by the Governor General of Canada.

Yvan holds an MPA from the École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP).

Steve Paré, CPA, CGA (Groupe Jafaco)

Secretary/Treasurer

Steve Paré has been Chief Financial Officer of Groupe Jafaco Gestion Inc., a financing and management company, for nine years. The Groupe has investments in more than 100 companies in Quebec and North America and is well known
for its business support team.

During his career of more than 25 years, Steve was successively Senior Director at Deloitte, Chief Financial Officer for a company operating in the heavy industry, and Controller for a major company specializing in prefabricated wood structures.

Steve holds a degree in business administration from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Advisory Council

André Larocque

André Larocque has been active in the financial field (credit unions), in business turnarounds and, above all, in the field of associations. In the latter, he held roles in economics and communications for a construction contractors’ association, and in administration for the FADOQ.

André holds a BSc in economics from the Université de Montréal and an MBA from HEC Montréal.

Dany Hallé

Dany Hallé has been Vice President of Commercial Affairs at Duchesnay, a Quebec-based pharmaceutical company specializing in women’s health, for nearly 30 years. His extensive professional background includes many of the country’s largest pharmaceutical companies where he held the positions of increasing responsibility over
the years. He is now mainly in charge of Sales, Marketing and Market Access for Canada and the United States.

Dany’s solid science background includes bachelors’ degrees in biotechnology from the Université du Québec à Montréal and in microbiology from the Université de Montréal, as well as a master’s degree in molecular genetics from the Université du Québec à Montréal/Institut du cancer. His administration background includes a graduate degree in management from HEC Montréal.

Jacques Arsenault, CPA, CGA

Chief Financial Officer

Jacques Arsenault oversees the budget development, financial operations, and preparation of QcGoldtech’s financial statements.

Jacques has had a successful career of over 25 years in business turnarounds, acquisitions, mergers, and sales. As a cash management specialist, he has supported many companies facing critical turnaround, operational restructuring, or strategic development situations. He has also taught financial management to practicing senior executives.

Jacques holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal and an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Alain Legault, SCMP

Deputy Managing Director

As Deputy Managing Director, Alain Legault manages SQDC and stakeholder relations, communications, partnerships, and the head office team.

Alain has held several high-level positions in communications and public affairs throughout his career, including at the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the Cégep Édouard- Montpetit, and the Société de Transport de Montréal (STM).

Alain holds a master’s degree in communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has also completed doctoral studies in communications.

Liette Delorme

Quality Assurance Officer

Liette Delorme is Senior Manager and Chief Quality Assurance Officer (quality improvement process), as well as QcGoldtech’s representative with Health Canada.

For more than 35 years, Liette has worked in the public health network and has taken on important roles in mental health and addiction.

Liette is a nurse clinician with a degree in addiction, clinical setting, and community health from the Université de Montréal.
She is a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec and is a certified trainer in violence prevention and aggressive behaviour management.

Marc Delorme

Transport

Marc Delorme manages transport operations.

He has worked for more than 35 years in the transportation field, particularly with straight trucks, heavy vehicles, and semi-trailers.

Normand Delorme

Opportunities development

Normand Delorme oversees the development of opportunities. In this capacity, he supports QcGoldtech’s project research and development.

Normand holds a degree in special education and has worked for over 35 years in health and education. He has advanced training in severe behavioural disorders, crisis management, and pervasive developmental disorders.

He has completed a TEACCH training addressing individuals on the autism spectrum.

Mario Desrochers

Chief Security Officer

Mario Desrochers has been a career police officer, having held the position of Assistant Director at the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) and taught police techniques at Collège Ahuntsic (CEGEP).

Mario oversees the implementation of internal security at QcGoldtech and the compliance with Quebec’s Private Security Act. He manages the vault, industrial safety at the three production sites, harvest transports from Bouchard Island, and deliveries of finished products to the SQDC.

Sarah Feldhammer, MSc, MBA

Business Development and Partnerships

Sarah Feldhammer holds the position of Director of business development and partnerships. Within this role, Sarah has a key responsibility in QcGoldtech’s growth by developing long-term relationships with companies throughout Quebec and Canada.

During her professional journey, Sarah has worked as a physiotherapist managing her own business while simultaneously working in multi-disciplinary teams at several private clinics.

Academically, Sarah has completed a Master of Science at McGill University, followed by an MBA at HEC Montreal. Her enriching educational experiences have led her to pursue a new career in the cannabis industry.

Andrée-Anne Bock

Operations

Andrée-Anne Bock manages all QcGoldtech’s production operations (planning, cultivation, packaging, labelling) at our two indoor sites.

Andrée-Anne was raised on a farm, where she developed a passion for biology. She studied natural sciences at Cégep Marie-Victorin in Montreal and special education at Cégep Félix-Leclerc in Gatineau.

Sandra Charlebois

Quality Assurance

Sandra Charlebois is the Director of Quality Assurance and Alternate Quality Assurance Officer. She has a security clearance from Health Canada, and reports to Liette Delorme, Chief Quality Assurance Officer.

Sandra has over 13 years of experience in dealing with the laws and regulations of her professional field.
Sandra holds a degree in nutrition and food safety from the University of Guelph (Alfred campus, Ontario).

Lucie Deschatelets

Administration and Human Resources

Lucie Deschatelets oversees administration and human resources.

Lucie has over 35 years of experience in general administration, with a special focus on human resources (including CNESST), accounting, customer service, and personnel management.

Lucie received her training at O’Sullivan College of Montreal and holds a certificate in general accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Benoît St-Louis

Security/Facilities

Benoît St-Louis is Director of Security and Deliveries, and Alternate Director of Operations. He also oversees QcGoldtech’s facilities and has a security clearance from Health Canada.

Benoît has many years of work experience as a businessman, during which time he benefited from many training courses.

He has been involved as president and voting member in several associations and foundations and has strong personnel and work team management skills.
